Working Glass
Robert has worked hot, kiln-fired, and cast glass for over twenty-five years. Striving to cross boundaries of classical technique, Robert truly pushes the limits of working glass through exploration and execution. Often, Robert would have to design and build his own tools and equipment in order to pursue his glass forming techniques.
Transition to Steel
Incorporating steel with glass served a function of display but over the past few years, Robert has found steel to be a great source of inspiration. Intrigued by the limitless possibilities steel lends itself Robert has slowly transitioned into building larger sculptural pieces.
Robert's works have exhibited in galleries and juried art shows throughout North America. Over the course of his career, Robert has received numerous awards for his art.
